* Always use clean containers or bags to place soil sample in.

* Package with protection - always use
a heavy postal envelope with protection against leaks.
* Label your soil correctly - Many lighter colored samples
of dirt may be confused for Anthrax which causes worry for the
shipper of the dirt.
